Voting will start around 12am EST on the first day and end at 3pm EST/noon PST on the last day, which a tie breaking round starting immediately after and going to 8pm EST/5pm PST, if needed.

Tomorrow is the last day to vote for round 1, so get your votes in!! There are still three really close matchups, one is even completely tied. To deal with the tie in case it doesn't get cleared up, I have decided that if it's needed, I will leave erase the count for the tie then leave that poll up for people to vote on for a few more hours.

The Top 16 list is up on the Standings page as are the breakdown of the divisions (Bleeding Hearts and Cadillac Blues). Also, on the voting page you will find a list of the matchups for round one and let me tell you, round one is going to be very interesting. I can't wait to see the results.

Edit: Found a problem in one my spreadsheet where I had entered in some numbers wrong, but after looking at the original submission I was able to correct things. That said, I have checked all the other submissions and made sure that everything is correct in my spreadsheet now. So there is a new version of the Top 16 and the two divisions posted.

Just a note, following the completion of this project I will post all of the results for every part of it so you can take a look if you are curious and just a reminder (if you haven't read it in the disclaimer at the bottom of the page), all emails containing complaints will be ignored and deleted. I put the top 16 together just as I explained in the about page and in my two date supplied edits.

Submissions are now closed. Both the lists of participants and stories nominated have been updated. I have also updated the rules about how I’m going to deal with the tie that I have between 5 stories for the final four spots of the top 16.

The top 16 list will be posted later this week and the first round of voting will begin next Sunday.

Just updated the stories that are in the running. I've received four top five lists and there are very few common stories listed. This will defintely make things more interesting. I've also updated the rules after consideration on how to handle ties for which stories go into the top sixteen.
